The post that was quoted here has been removedAh. CRT's are impossible to get rid of nowadays. Even Freecyclers won't have them unless you are lucky.
I once had a 21 inch ancient CRT monitor. It weighed a ton. One person actually expressed an interest in it and when he collected it, he told me that he was going to use to make an video arcade machine.
Give me £30 and I'll have it :]
