I worked as a lead hand (with about 20 people working for me) in a place once where there was a swear bucket. Whenever anyone swore they had to put a certain amount of money (it was a long time ago so the amount's been forgotten) into it and every Friday we'd see how much was in it and we were able to by everyone a coffee and donut. Each Monday I'd go the the bucket and drop in a few dollars because I knew that I'd be swearing about something or other (nothing to do with my people or their work, we were a great team, but because of the material we had to work with or some other department not keeping up with us slowing down our production) during the week. If memory serves me well I was the biggest contributor. I have since become much more restrained. 🙂

Ah. CRT's are impossible to get rid of nowadays. Even Freecyclers won't have them unless you are lucky.

I once had a 21 inch ancient CRT monitor. It weighed a ton. One person actually expressed an interest in it and when he collected it, he told me that he was going to use to make an video arcade machine.

Give me £30 and I'll have it :]
