I have an interesting dilema now. Before packing the unit to ship, I started it up and it works fine. Been playing Halo 3 all morning. I know the RROD will return. My problem is that I bought that unit in my home country where the local techies hack into it and load illegal copies of the games. Will MS find that out and not fix the RROD? Maybe Im better off keeping the only-work-sometimes unit rather than shipping it off. Any advice?
OK .. hacking, illegal copies of DVDs CDs, software is the norm in 3W countries.

Lets hope they sort that out.
