I remember seeing something in one of the forums that led me to believe that renewing your subscription would be at the "old" rate. Now when I go to renew, via subscriptions it says that it's now $29.95/yr.Was I mistaken about that "old" rate thingy?🙄🙄

I got an auto reminder via email, updated my cc details and was billed at the old rate (I think). I would have to check to be certain though - remind me tomorrow 🙂

Edit: 3/10 for Spelling and Grammar - must try harder...

My understanding was that exsisting members paid the old rate for life, whilst new members paid the new rate, but maybe message Russ to get confirmation would be the best plan.

I think that russ said something about, renewing through the subscription link in the email reminder. If you tried through the website directly, it would billed at the new price.

IIRC of course,

Nope, you just don't have to do nothing, your card is automatically billed every year at the original price you paid, until you send a notice that you want to stop the service (if you want).

If you signed up to a subscription at previous rate, the cost will remain the same, regardless of the current subscription rate. If a subscription lapses ( you lose your star ) then that will be considered a *new* subscription, not a continuation, and the new rate will need to be paid.

If you used a CC, then the subscription will renew. Plenty of notice is given (to the email provided when subscribing, not the email address used to register on RHP) but if you do not want this to happen, please let me know.

I will be renewing when it comes up it July. Can I renew ahead of time to make sure I don't lose my star, Also I have moved and thus changed banks. The account I opened this name under is no longer active...will I have to pay new fee or old fee...since the fee will remain can we purchase more than one year at a time, and say we were to purchase blocks of time in 3-5 year intervals would we recieve a discounted rate, not that I wouldnt gladly pay extra if need be just simple questions to start thinking about...
Thanks for all the hard work Russ every one here at Red Hot Pawn appreciates everything you do.
Thanks for listening
Rob
