Well if you all had been following the ongoing soap opera story of the Jennings Clan and our fight with the so-called people accross the street, they atttacked my son, who is hispanic, running him down with their car, knocking him to the ground off his bicycle and the whole family proceeded to physically and verbally abuse him, the father, Mike Kusman and his sons attacking our son Jonathon after knocking him off the bike and Kusmans wife in the background screaming, hey nigger, how does it feel to be called nigger, etc, ad nauseum. So they were charged with assault with a deadly weapon, ethnic intimidation, among several other charges. Today I am happy to say Jonathon did not even have to testify again, something that made him terrified, to the point where the Special Victims unit of Allentown gave him consouling sessions which are not through yet. Anyway the Kusmans caved in and pleaded guilty!!!! I was totally shocked to say the least. I figured they would lawyer up and fight to the bitter end. I am sure they plea bargained down probably avoiding jail time but now the way is wide open to sue those bastids for every penny they have. I would not be suprised if after whatever fines or service they have to perform, they skip town but not before we get our legal hooks on their pathetic ashes!! YEA!!

One thing that really upset us was not knowing where to turn when this whole sick affair started. We called on the NAACP thinking they would jump on this really quick but were shocked to find after many long distance and local phone calls on the national, state and local level, not ONE of these people bothered to return our calls. They missed a chance to do some good and I am quite dissapointed the organization that is supposed to help in such troubles totally snubbed us.

That happens to me sometimes. A guy called me a kraut once and I shouted back, "Oi @$$hole, I'm a Mick/Paddy."
That must have been really hard on you all and im sure that im not the only one that will wish you the very best in getting your son back to full happiness and getting all you can in revenge against these horrid scummy people that dont deserve to be alive for doing something that shocking. i feel for you and your family as i have the same problem with my neighborhood. my kids can not play in their own garden without stones being thrown at them. the point being nobody but me gives a dammmm for them. the council wont even let me move house
