Let me clarify. I'm not saying literally throw rocks back at them. Video tape your kids being assaulted, bricks being thrown at your house, etc..and then press charges. If no one else will do anything about it, you do something about it.
you are such a condescending so and so. i am not going to write a list for you d.c as to what i have done in regards to the problem. not to mention it is not one family but the whole neighbourHOOD, hoods is what they wear so you can not identify them. the police are a waste of time. cameras can not identify hooded jerks. i could go on but i wont.

You mentioned earlier about a council not allowing you to move? What is that about if you don't mind me asking. You live in a free country don't you? Anyway I hope you also get your problems worked out. Man it is tough being a kid. Not to easy on the parents either now that I think about it..

People are wearing hoods just to throw rocks at your kids? That's weird, in a Munich kind of way...

The council is the local authority. Housing through them is generally a better deal than renting from private landlords [though many people will probably disagree] and basically moving is a load of red tape and depends on this and that. There's nothing in the rules to stop someone moving into privately rented accommodation or getting a mortgage and buying a house - getting a bit expensive here though nowadays.

YEA!!
This is the first I've read your post, SH. Terrible situation and I'm happy that it seems to be working out okay for you now. Tell your son that many people he will never meet, like Fran and I, care about him and wish him well. Not much we can actually do to help but tell him that we all draw courage from him and that it's very important that he remain brave and remember to maintain a proper perspective about such things. Almost all people stand with him. Unfortunately there will always be a few like the Kusmans but he must not let them suck the joy from his life. -Del

I understand now, thanks. It is indeed a tough situation then. It would be hard to raise five kids and have to put up with that kind of garbage. All Parents having to deal with those kinds of issues and the harm it does to their children, always have my sympathy.

Sounds like a job for Mighty Mouse. But just like Chuck Norris he is never around when you need him. This World is so screwed up, it is a wonder that anyone ever makes it to Adulthood.

Sonhouse, you have done all the right things. Your kid I am sure has already had a rough enough time of it as is. Being adopted into a new home. That has to be hard enough on him, but it shows the tremendous love that you and the rest of your family has given him. Good job. I can only imagine some of the trauma he is having to deal with. Going to school and having to deal with who knows what kind of abuse other kids would be giving him as a result. It is a good thing he has sound Parental support. I have heard of a lot of kids turning to suicide, drugs or turning into the same kind monster that attacked him because of such events. Then latter they wind up in Prison or worse because of it. Keep up the counseling. If you can, turn him into a *Rock Star* or something. You will all get through it. Good Luck.

And then when his house windows get broken or excrement/ fireworks through the letter box, then what? Do it back?
take the excrement, walk across the street and shove it in his mug. An action like that deserves harsh retaliation

They were wrong to call your kid a 'nigger': they should have called him a spic.

That happens to me sometimes. A guy called me a kraut once and I shouted back, "Oi @$$hole, I'm a Mick/Paddy."
something like that happened to Robert Duvall's character in the first Godfather movie...

on a serious not, i'm glad these guys got nailed. take 'em down (legally)...

Thanks again for all the kind words. Not sure yet what the punishment is going to be for the Kusman's. They are in deep doo doo for sure.
