Let me clarify. I'm not saying literally throw rocks back at them. Video tape your kids being assaulted, bricks being thrown at your house, etc..and then press charges. If no one else will do anything about it, you do something about it.

Anyway I hope you also get your problems worked out. Man it is tough being a kid. Not to easy on the parents either now that I think about it..

Originally posted by cashthetrashThe council is the local authority. Housing through them is generally a better deal than renting from private landlords [though many people will probably disagree] and basically moving is a load of red tape and depends on this and that. There's nothing in the rules to stop someone moving into privately rented accommodation or getting a mortgage and buying a house - getting a bit expensive here though nowadays.

Tell your son that many people he will never meet, like Fran and I, care about him and wish him well. Almost all people stand with him. Unfortunately there will always be a few like the Kusmans but he must not let them suck the joy from his life. -Del
Well if you all had been following the ongoing soap opera story of the Jennings Clan and our fight with the so-called people accross the street, they atttacked my son, who is hispanic, running him down with their car, knocking him to the ground off his bicycle and the whole family proceeded to physically and verbally abuse him, the father, Mike Kusman and h ...[text shortened]... to perform, they skip town but not before we get our legal hooks on their pathetic ashes!! Sounds like a job for Mighty Mouse. But just like Chuck Norris he is never around when you need him. This World is so screwed up, it is a wonder that anyone ever makes it to Adulthood.
Sonhouse, you have done all the right things. Your kid I am sure has already had a rough enough time of it as is. Being adopted into a new home. That has to be hard enough on him, but it shows the tremendous love that you and the rest of your family has given him. Good job. I can only imagine some of the trauma he is having to deal with. Going to school and having to deal with who knows what kind of abuse other kids would be giving him as a result. It is a good thing he has sound Parental support. I have heard of a lot of kids turning to suicide, drugs or turning into the same kind monster that attacked him because of such events. Then latter they wind up in Prison or worse because of it. Keep up the counseling. If you can, turn him into a *Rock Star* or something. You will all get through it. Good Luck.

They were wrong to call your kid a 'nigger': they should have called him a spic.
That happens to me sometimes. A guy called me a kraut once and I shouted back, "Oi @$$hole, I'm a Mick/Paddy."
on a serious not, i'm glad these guys got nailed. take 'em down (legally)...
