Here is my unofficial entry to the art competition. I didn't use artpad (obviously), so I guess its really not an entry at all, but is more of my commentary on the competition. What can I say? I was inspired by the artistic muse.

The artwork was all done using a technique I developed in Photoshop involving several different filters. I applied them to some photos I took of myself and then cleaned them up as necessary. The layout and speech balloons were done in Illustrator.

I considered joining under Self Portrait first. I would have done a picture of me in the kitchen with a guitar. You understand that one.
Well, you could also draw a picture of the end of the world... or a picture of or about Red Night. He's a user here. Perhaps you never heard of xyr?
Using imagination is important... but the image must be on topic. You don't use your imagination really to try and define the other topics. They are just what they say.
