One of my favourite episodes from days gone by was the MAP war. All good spirted fun.

Rhymester's page still makes me laugh :

So, I nominate Rhymester. (But not vaknso, because he is no longer active πŸ˜›.)

From my own memory, I enjoyed the wolfpack escapades and the great erruption of 2004. As to stand out legends, surely the Forum Christ is top of the list. I'd mention the pirate too, but he's...well...he's sailed on to foreign shores.

All hail to Muffy, Lord of Muffins, i.e. Telerion's genius concept in the Spirituality forum.

I would like to thank starrman for giving us a peep behind the computers and seeing what some of the rhp addicts look like with rhpfaces

This belongs in the debates forum....

I mean the spirituality forum......

I mean......erm.......forget it. πŸ˜›

P.S. I remember there being a fair share of contibutions from "anti-theists" as well. πŸ˜‰

Oh, one more legend from way back, the player (who unfortunately requested to remain anonymous) who sent us a cheque for 2 months server fees when we were trying to work out if we could afford an upgrade. It was a considerable gesture, and it really was a turning point, when we decided to invest heavily in hardware and sorted out some poor coding to allow the site to grow to cope with the growing traffic.

Such a legend, he can’t be named.

I can say nothing for fear of giving away his identity.

Sorry, I just fixed the bug that was allowing deleted forums to be read. It was far too scary reading that stuff from back then too. Not much changes really though, does it?

-Russ
That is so lame.
