I'd really like to see the original pictures involved in all the photos once voting is done.
1st - 10 pts - 3. Little Boy Racer
2nd - 8 pts - 9. Holy Cow, Zebra Crossing
3rd - 6 pts - 1. Abandoned
4th - 5 pts - 5. Fallout
5th - 4 pts - 14. Catgirl
6th - 3 pts - 10. Lake in Winter
7th - 2 pts - 2. Sleep Tight
8th - 1 pt - 11. Lemon
1 Little Boy Racer... I asked my wife to get one for the boy. She said... "Um, it's on fire". I said, "I know."
2 Cow Cross is great. Nice blending and way to make a cow look like a zebra.
3 Abandoned. I like things lost in the woods, I like them green, I like old cars, I like skulls... I think it is all put together well.
4 Fallout... Hey you! Don't drop your rocks on Bean Town!
5 Catgirl. The teeth are nice, much harder work than the work done for the eyes, but all is great.
6 Lake in Winter. I enjoy a real image converted to paintings etc. I look forward to seeing the original image... if I could.
7 Sleep Tight. It is always fun to change to grayscales and mess with the contrast or whatever was done to get the affect on the pillow and hair.
8 Lemon.. Neat picture, great idea. Great job with angles and shadow... As I noted for my 7 pick, I love a good color on a grayscale... in this case, bluescale I guess.
All the images were great and fun to look at.

1. Lake in Winter - At first this one didn't really appeal to me. I thought someone had just applied a watercolor filter to a photograph. I was impressed when I read the comments and discovered it was done by hand. I'd be interested to see the original.
2. Little Boy Racer - This was my favorite at first. Then I realized that the burning car was a different kind of car than the new car. I was a little disappointed by that. It made me feel a little cheated, like the creator was sort of hoping I wouldn't notice. Still, a very nice effort.
3. Sleep Tight - While I didn't think that this was terribly complex from an editing perspective, the photograph itself is very well done and the edits compliment it nicely. I was unsure about putting this one in my top 3, but since this is a photography competition (with editing as a secondary objective), I changed my mind.
