Regarding the question of who I am and my right to participate. As per Nordlys comment, yes I am a friend of Ragnorak and he kindly invited me to participate. I do appreciate the welcome you have all extended to me as a (non chess playing) participant. I do look forward to the remaining rounds, but if any do think that the competitions should be restricted to chess players only... well then just say the word.
