This last vote is interesting, and close so far, but....Far more interesting to me now is who wrote all of the stories! I hope nobody chooses to remain anonymous, I imagine that we'll be discussing the stories for a bit after the final result is known. It isn't the winning, after all, and there were some entries which didn't make much progress points - wise but deserve ...[text shortened]... of these, I daresay you old hands have seen it all before and don't share my innocent enthusiasm....
Up to now we Always have given the authors the Option to stand to their stories or not.
The winner however is always public.

And the Competition is new each time, and we had new authors this time.

Some Posters would Maybe do a guessing game. I would create a new thread for that.

And I would disucss the storeis in the first round Voting thread as in the past.

In previous years virtually all the writers let us know who wrote what, and I hope that is true this year as well. Like yourself I look forward to discussing all the stories afterwards. (It really is the best bit).

We can have a discussion on that one after the finish. Count the frst plave mentiones and reevaluate.

Yes, they could do that, but they won't. This is a friendly competition between writers who genuinely respect each other. Of course writers want to win but there would be no joy in doing so without integrity.

Please don't ruin this old chap.

I know sir. (Was a play on the famous quote).

'A week is a long time in politics.'

Ah Moonbus.

I have been wondering if 3 of the final stories belonged to yourself.
