I've avoided it for, as Wolfgang has indicated elsewhere, fear of having some degree of "counter-influence". 😀

But, I will stick my neck out and guess that "Victoria's Wedding" was written by a wonderful female. 🙂
I think the votes ahve been cast

    A simple Sassenach,
with a head like a block
    went to the colonies
    and bought him some stock.
    He bought very high
    and sold very low
    and now lays outside
drinking his scotch from the snow.

Bite your tongue. Scotch should only be consumed at room temperature, never in cold snow. 😠 😉

In which thread do you want to discuss the entries? So we all go to the correct one.

I would do that in Thread 185267 where the stories have been posted.

As always, thank you kindly Ponderable for running the competition and everyone who took the time to read and vote.

Am happy to share first place with my entry 'This little piggy.'

Was a lot of fun to write.

    Congratulations. A worthy co winner.

Do you have an x rated version of the story? I felt that extra digit could come in useful in untold circumstances.

Were you responsible for any other offerings?

Thank you kindly. (Yes, there is an adult version floating about somewhere in my head).

My other (more sensible) entry was 'Lockdown.'

    Congratulations on regaining your title.

I wrote "Release", so thank you to all those who voted for the story over the two rounds. After a poor showing last year, I was ecstatic to win round 1.

I will discuss the stories in the thread that Ponderable mentioned above.
