Not trying to embarrass you, just thanking you for the laugh.
1150 players do write chess books, infact have in my library books
on chess written by people who don't even play the game.
The high numbers after a name mean they are good at a game.
Nothing more, they are good at a game.
Your blinkered view is holding back your chess development.
Look past the numbers, see the man.
You are just as good at chess as he is but his 4 digit number is
higher than yours so you expect (and want to ) lose.

Last time I looked top thread was some guy saying you should stand in front
of a fridge, drop your trousers and freeze your genitals.

VR- Sure you were, but I am a big guy and can handle it. 😉 I think I sometimes lose focus when I have the game won. (become bored if you will, the fight is over in my mind) I have to be very careful especially in my clan games, as I have 19 other serious players depending on me.

VR- Oh I have beaten 2000 players, just not a whole lot of them. I do expect to lose everytime I play skeeter, other than that it is not the case with me.

VR- Don't take me too seriously as it is all just friendly banter to me. I am sure you are a good fellow. At least I have been told you're a good head, as far as heads go. I do realize the lower rated opponents you are playing, you are probably going over the games with afterwards and teaching them some things about the game.
I don't know you personally or what your real rating is in the real world. It is just my opinion that 2000 players don't make the greatest chess book writers. Do you know who Kevin Spraggett is? He is an old timer now, but was a 2500+ player in his day. This is more my idea of a chess teacher, someone in that rating area. No disrespect intended. If I decided I was going to study the game, instead of just play and have fun, that would be the direction I would go.

And always with me. Though I do have to spend a lot time
convincing players on CF that grades, especialy on here are nothing but
mere numbers that can change from day to day, hour by hour.
I stopped playing over 2000 players when 6 of the 9 I played got banned.
I have a computer in the house.
Also as part of my anti grade worshipping campaign I proved it was possible to
get to a grade of 1950 in a few months just by playing under 1600 players.
(you cannot do that in the real world).

write anything that is funny or is a joke then you need not add !!!!
