Just wanted to post a rambling monologue of my opinion on current RHP events.
We have recently been losing players from banning, bullying, and bitching. If we only accept those people that are "like us", then what a woefully tragic life we lead. By winnowing out what we find objectionable, we are left with a very "vanilla" existance. There are many people here with whom I contantly disagree, DSR, Bogle, Granny,and SMSBear to name just a few; but it is our differences that make the debate more lively. If everyone here agreed with me, who would I argue with? Without opposing viewpoints, how can we ever be sure in what we believe in . I believe that people like Frank. B. ,skeeter, Kirksey Phlab, and others are part of the rich tapestry that should be RHP. We are united by our love of chess, but each individual here comes with their own unique life experience, and personality. VIVA LA DIFFERANCE! There is room for everyone.

Don't worry about it, and certainly don't pin your emotions on the well being and community spirit of a bunch of chess nerds.
