Rush made a calculated error. He was speaking to a conservative audiance who does not like it when someone crosses the line in good taste.
Conversly, someone like Bill Maher calls Palin and Bachmann c@nts, however, his audiance, all 3 of them, seem like they can't get enough.
In the end, one apologizes, realizing his miscalculation, and the other does not. I guess Bill can write Obama another $1,000,000 check while Rush just lost about as much in revenue.

My guess is that you could care less how women are attacked verbally. My guess is that you only give a damn cause Maher gives voice to your hatred toward those of a particular political persuasion.
