He bags them an audience. That audience bags them advertisers. That's all they need. And that's why advertisers finally wising up and leaving him is significant.

That depends on how many he brought in to begin with. As I am not privy to their figures, I couldn't tell. If they believe that his presence alone gains them 10 advertisers and now lost them 7, they're still 3 advertisers up from not having him. OTOH, if he brought in 10 marginal advertisers and now lost them 7 major ones...

In the end, it all depends on the exact figures, or rather, on what they believe those figures to be, and I have no idea what those are.
