Save Immortal Blue

General

RHP's "Play the Immortal Game" version, beautiful but apparently unloved, is slated for extinction.

However, there remains a glimmer of hope for preserving its distinctive blue skin. Please lend your support.

Google "the immortal game"

and you'll see the link.

Click on it and you'll see this page except
the colour scheme is blue.

Save immortal blue.
You know it's the one for you.
I've used it for years,
now I'm shedding tears.,
'cos they want to flush it down the loo.

Among 983,000 results, I'm afraid. And that's with the quote marks.

Yes. Chess is known as 'the immortal game' so it does kick up a lot of results in Google. Try searching for 'playtheimmortalgame' all one word.

playtheimmortalgame gets 32,500,000 Google results. The ones on the first page that seem to go anywhere remotely useful tend to want a sign up, and not to RHP. Based on this I will abstain. Unless somebody wants to post the actual url that shows whatever needs showing.

I'd have called it royal purple, myself. Each to his own. I think the colour scheme is restful and I'd like to see it used for, say, RedHotChess, which looks way too much like RedHotPawn IMHO.

I always say "It's not rocket surgery", people laugh, and then slowly they come around and eventually say "That's pretty good."
