@very-rusty saidOr in your case, duck under a table.
Odds are prety good you've NEVER been in a bar room brawl...First rule you back to the wall!!! 😛 😉

@ghost-of-a-duke saidI wouldn't want to take you hiding spot goad.
Or in your case, duck under a table.
I'd have my back to the wall that way you are see everything coming towards you.
Obviously you never been in a bar room brawl....I think you'd wet your panties!

@very-rusty saidGood to know! Athough generally I stay out of bars because of all the stupid, angry drunks.

@caesar-salad saidThat is a fact CS but there are also those who just go in to have a few drinks with friends. I do remember a time when I enjoyed fighting, but as I got older I sort of lost interest. One makes a name for themselves if they are any good, and then have people come looking just to see if they can beat you and for no other reason.

@very-rusty saidYou sound strangely proud to have been in a barroom brawl. How odd.

I can't recall ever being in a situation of violence (excluding instances at work). Perhaps it's a result of me lacking the emotion of anger.
@ghost-of-a-duke saidMay I ask if that occurred on its own, or did you cultivate that lack (e.g. through meditation)?

@very-rusty saidYou seem to have an obsession with butt-kissing lately.
Pondy...One thing about chaney3 I don't see him kissing any butt on here!!!
I'm sure Duchess wouldn't mind offering hers if you ask politely.
@caesar-salad saidStems from childhood, but was not something I intentionally cultivated.

As a general rule, it is healthier to experience the full array of emotions.
@ghost-of-a-duke saidI think anger is a good thing - I just can't find mine when I need it.

The only ones who 'need' to put their back to a wall are Doc Holliday and those who are afraid their skills aren't up to the task. Admit it, you got this "back to the wall" BS from some bad movie.
@very-rusty saidAgain, you got this macho crap from some spaghetti western.

That's just not real.
@suzianne saidCuriously, when Rusty heard I sat with my back to the wall when I used my laptop in a coffee shop, he accused me of cowardice.
You're an idiot.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidMost workplaces will punish both sides in any fighting at work. Most have a zero tolerance stance for fighting. Where I work, if a fight happens, everyone who participates will lose their job, period. Everyone knows this, too, so in all the time I've worked there, I've never personally witnessed a fight.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidI'm waiting for somebody to annoy me enough to make me lose my temper. 🙂
Have you checked down the back of the sofa?
