I recently finished Ronnie, Ron Wood's autobiography and he too like to drop names although his do ring bells.

She was a Capricorn with her feet firmly on Terra Firma. But, during lunch I let myself reminisce and remembered it was Mary who wore the soft pink sweater which was well coordinated with her expensive coffee/mocha skirt, that summer night I drove to her home in Augusta, GA. Dottie B and her Hottie Mom always wore elegant tight slacks. Mrs B was so very thoughtful. She frequently made my favorite cookies for our snack.

Sounds as though you needed a bit of nourishment in order to get the names right. I guess that happens although the longterm memories tend to be remembered it's the later ones that seem to fade or so I've found. Weird or what?.
