However, when I was living at the Dead Sea I came back to the hostel one evening and there was a white insect/arachnie sitting on the bar (it was closed, as it was late).
It looked a bit like scorpion, but the tail was flat and round with ridges. The end of the tail did have a point. I think it had 8 legs anyways.
So, I went up close to have a look and then the caretaker came.
This caretaker was the sort of man who picked up scorpions and snakes with his bare hands and kept them in aquaria (obviously without water), but when he saw this beastie he went into major panic mode and started hitting me and the creature with a broom as he shouted and balled like the end of the world was upon us.
I reckon that was a pretty scary creature and I've never found out what the hell it was either.
Another time I was cleaning out a bread cutting machine and a large tarantula dropped at my feet and pulled its legs in tight.
Believe me, I'm not built for running, but you heard a bang as I passed through the speed of sound that day.

Then I realized that the window needed to be lowered so I reached tom put the keys back in and dropped them and kicked them under the seat accidentally. I was looking down when I saw this BIG black FURRY spider looking at me! I panicked and pushed back against the seat and then froze and it jumped on me!
I screamed and tried not to move
It was horrible!
