If we really could simply and quickly change our mindsets would we exist at all? If I could be a completely different person tomorrow, then somebody else the next day, then I have no real personality at all. The stubbornness with which we stick to our own way of being is fundamental to our existence in my opinion.

At our ages and this stage in life there is not much chance of us changing from who we are.

The grand children are still and young and much brighter and better informed than in my day anyway.
