I hope I get to send you Yankee fans flowers. I will not be suprised if some Nintytwo game season winner becomes the champion.

10-8 Red Sox over the D-Rays in 11 innings. Yankees got rained out so the Red Sox are now 2.5 games back with 5 to go, 6 to go fro the Yankees. I'm not even so concerned with the division anymore, I just want the Red Sox to keep winning their games so that all these double-headers become necessary for the Yankees to clinch.

I've never had more confidence in the Red Sox than I do right now. And that includeds last year. This team has got it all: pitchng, defense, offense, and a very deep and versatile bench. Sundown can talk all he wants about how the Red Sox don't have the mental toughness to put past failures behind them, but it doesn't makehim right. I've seen nothng from this team that would indicate anything of the sort. Schilling, Damon, Millar....they've all talked about being a part of the first Red Sox team to win it all in the modern era, and they didn't use phrases like "wouldn't it be great if," or "I really hope we..." This team has the swagger, and they have the moxie.

This is going to be one helluva postseason.

It's a word I've tried to work into my everyday vocabulary, but you know, a situation rarely arises where its use is warranted.

Don't overlook the Cards - they are also the total package! I predict the NL will come away with the Series this year (again!)

Well, barring a miracle now, the Yankees have the division locked up. So the good news is that the Red Sox can get started setting up their rotation for the playoffs, which start next Tuesday. Dear God, I hope the Byung-Hyun Kim Experiment is finally over.

I have seem the best team lose before. being a complete team does not win the game. I was really suprised when Detroit lost to NJ in the NHL final game. That year Detroit won more game then any team ever in the NHL. The USA ice hocky team beating team Russia was a big upset win.

Maybe now you Boston fans will accept another sad fact-Pedro Martinez is nothing but a choke artist, who will never win the Big Game.I still think it's Yanks-Cardinals in the WS,and I don't want to even guess who wins that one,too close to call.
