A note to those who have had the pleasure of playing K&P. I heard from his son today that his medical problems have turned for the worst and that his time in this venue is limeted ( about 6 weeks). I will miss this gentleman, and Senior Clan player and my best wishes go out to him and his family.

As one Life member of the USCF to another (and one just as old!):
Kings&Pawns has always been a scam. "He" was actually a group of collegiate chess players, perhaps at Harvard, who have now graduated as thus are now dispersed.
This scenario is based on numerous items: statements by K&P, analysis of move times by K&P, activity patterns of K&P, and the fact that after 40 years of playing chess in the USCF, there is no individual of his claimed age and history in this country who I've been aware of who plays chess that well and would be wanting to play on RHP.
It is just not conceivable (by me), which led me to investigate this profile in depth.
Of course, it's only an internet chess site, so: (as Jake was told at the end of Chinatown) it means nothing.
But, I have had an opponent die while playing me in USCF CC, back in the 70's, and it still haunts me. And then, Dennis Kohler, who I've played recently in USCF CC more than once, had his obit posted 2 months ago by Alex Dunne in his Chess Life column. He was a sweet and honest guy, and a long time USCF member. I felt that one as well.
Thus, when someone who is "playing the system" tries to pull this on trusting people, ...
it upsets me.
I am not looking for controversy, just want honesty on this site. And, I am:
William J Morris (#10142113) (Pa)
(BTW, I got your name from the USCF published Life Members book, You gave enough info on your profile to find you there.)

I do not know just how to respond to your post. I have long ago realized that they are those who use or seek something out of relationships, weather its personal or via the internet, that they are not intitled or earned or even deserve. My experience with K&P on RHP have been pleasant, cordial, and if its a "scam" by Harvard students, I will probably never truly know, but as you say after all its just a internet site. I will choose to accept my experience at face value and be what I am. My profile is accurate and my contact with others on RHP is as open as I can be without having to worry about the indescreations of others.
Thanks.
Out of curiosity i decided to run a full batch 20 game analysis of K&P, if any body is interested in the full details send me a message. For those that aren't, K&P's matchups were similar to this user -

You catch my drift? 😉
