Interesting. You respond. How predictable.

You are a whiner. Thanks for proving my point well, once again. Always so quick on the uptake, there, Rusty. Always so sly.
Excuse me for saying so, but all I asked you, is do you think what you 'had to say' makes you look "Angelic"

Typically, you can not answer, and are only able to give more potshots.

SS: care to explain that to a 13 year old who by the TOS can access the forums and play on this web site

Actually by the TOS they can't.
Then why are they here? Care to explain that?

I think it should be a special forum by it self perhaps called Forum18+, then those of use who do not wish to play in it, don't have to go into it.

We have been suggesting this for years. It's a great idea that CFT just now took credit for. It would have saved a lot of trouble and bannings as well as unnecessary hurt feelings had everyone agreed earlier. I never could understand why people are so quick to catch on.

I know it's not my idea but for a few moments someone actually suggested a wonderful idea. Brilliant!

Agreed, I hope he gets credit for it and it actually becomes implamented. I think...because if it doesn't work then I don't want to be anywhere near the idea ir and when the stench hits the fan. If you know what I mean.

Are they? According to the TOS, they're not supposed to be.

Many providers have the same language as RHP. Google for instance says you need to be 13 and of legal age to enter into a contract. How many 14 year olds have g-mail acoounts, face book accounts, and my space accounts?

Frankly, the language about being of legal age is superfluous. Having the capacity to contract is implied in every contract.

The law on these contracts is still somewhat unsettled.

In the case of a 14 year old sub who used their parent's credit card, the contract would most probably be deemed to be between the parent and RHP.

In the case of a non-sub, they probably have no legal right to be here and RHP would have difficult winning a law suit intended to enforce some other obligation under the contract.

BUT, that doesn't mean that RHP has no duty to protect them. For instance in the event of an injury to a minor on this site, it would do RHP little good to offer as a defense that the child had no legal right to be here in the first place because the RHP pass-through contract they "signed" was void.

RHP has a duty to protect minors on this site, whether or not the contract that let them in the door was enforceable agaisnt the minor or not.

The same people would go on that forum and complain about everything they complain about now except they wouldn't have to fake the "save the kiddies" rationale - which is never what their complaining is really about anyway.

What part of this don't you understand?

3. YOUR REGISTRATION OBLIGATIONS
In consideration of your use of the Service, you represent that you are of legal age to form a binding contract

Your attempts at legalese are laughable. According to your theory, every site on the net is legally liable if they present material that is inappropriate for minors even if the site rules explicitly ban minors. That is utter nonsense.
