How do I get in touch with the site administrator. I would like to join the site which isnt the question. I have found this site to be a great learning environment and I would like to get subscriptions for about 100 inner city youth from seattle. This will give them the ability to learn chess online and at their own rates, as well as keep them off the streets. These children will range from 7-15 years old with various levels of chess playing ability. Any information would be fantastic.

a personal mentor to some of those new subscribers.
I have read and learned a lot about the game from several of your

Alot of these kids come from one parent families. We have a motto at our chess club, "Push Pawns Not Drugs." We take kids in off the streets and teach them how to play chess. give them a sense of community, give them something to snack on if they are hungry, let them know that they are loved

Originally posted by SeirawanA great post, both here and also where it may have been useful, in the "are no-subscribers welcome?" thread. Alas, in a sense it should not be necessary for anyone who cannot subscribe to do so, but there are a vocal number of people onsite who really don't understand the existance of poverty at all. They've heard of it but just don't understand it.

There is of course a secondry issue with regard to subscription and the group you mention: possesion, even of something as small as an avatar (forum picture), helps create a sense of belonging, which I hope is something that RHP offsers with free abandon!

Folks-- before kissing the feet of this guy for too long, I'd advise you to head over to the Chess forum and look in the "chess help" thread at the advice this guy gives to other players. Look and decide if it's really grandmaster quality advice.
Then you can make up your own minds. Mine is made up.

Is there a TOS regarding impersonating someone? hmmmm.... should this be something that Russ needs to know about? Is there any way to be 100% sure?!?

It is a real shame that someone should set out to dupe people like this. I will take appropriate action.
