Nightclub bouncer

Yes, I can attest that this site has been very laggardly this past week. Not all the time, but most times. A thumbs down can take two or three seconds to register.

Oh wow.
I see you post in debates - slow thumbs down must be a real pain.
I feel for you.

Exactly, he used to punch every 14th guy that would come out of the club after it was supposed to be closed.

Yes, testing the thumbs down here in this thread, I see things are moving along more quickly now.

I'm thinking of applying for a National Science Foundation grant to conduct a statistical study to ascertain whether there is a significant difference in the time it takes to execute a thumbs down operation compared with a thumbs up or an alert. One possible application of the study's results would be to determine whether, in fact, the universe is biased toward negative or positive feedback. Such determination may shed light on the eternal question of whether nature is, from an objective perspective, a bitch.

Mine was instantaneous!!! 😀

Appears Site is working well now, hope that doesn't jinx it, if you believe in that kind of thing.

I gave you one thumb up to cancel out the one I gave you down. 😉

Went in quickly, appears the Site is back functioning well again.
