@Arkturos saidCongratulations!!! π
It was only recently that I acquired proper toenail clippers -- what a difference the right tool makes!
Grateful that my gut is still not so large that I cannot reach my toes.

@Very-Rusty saidThank you, but of course now I am embarrassed that I allowed myself to be led into such a topic drift.
Congratulations!!! π

@Great-Big-Stees saidMine seems to come and go, I assumed Russ is working on the issue. ( He said it was in issue with 'bots'.)
I’m finding that the “slowness” is happening, pretty much every morning. Maybe it has to do with the oppressive heat/climate change?π€
Just seems to be you and I and a few others being effected or at least that has said anything about the Site being slow.

it could be the ghost in the machine
it could be undigested barbecue
or the finest redheaded strut i've ever seen
the reason for the site delay was explained some time ago by @Russ as AI bots instigating a dedicated denial of service (dds)
yer welcome

@Very-Rusty saidUPDATE: July11/25 1:12 P.M. Atlantic Canada time. I seem to have a 4 to 5 second delay each time moving in the chess section. Forums still have a delay also.

@Great-Big-Stees saidSame here my friend. Time is 9:19a.m. July 12/25. Russ has said a lot of issues with the bots. I really don't know what he going to do about it. I am about as tech savvy as you are, probably less actually. I am sure he is working at it, sounds like it would be a pain in the butt. But yes that describes it well "Slow as molasses in January", I would add going up hill!!!
Today I am experiencing “slow as molasses in January”.π’
