How many others do that? When I'm up in the wee hours I always take my gun out of the nightstand and keep it by the keyboard just in case I need to shoot bad guys. Plus I just like to fondle my gold/silver/pearl handled James Bond gun.

Originally posted by SteinbergYeah in the books they mention a Beretta in ....dig this......25 ACP hahahahahahahahaha. Then he switches to the Walther in .32 ACP because the armorer said it has "stopping power like a brick through a plate glass window" hahahahahahahahahaaaaaa Fleming apparently didn't know much about guns.
in the films he uses mainly walther pistols i think, ppk and p99
in the original books he uses a beretta for a lot of them
Originally posted by SteinbergYes and the .32 isn't much better. I remember a passage from one of the Bond books where Fleming goes on about how Bond took the grips off his Beretta and covered the bare metal with tape to slim it down, then SHARPENED the firing pin for better primer detonation, which was really stupid, sharpening the firng pin would cause it to puncture the primers and malfunction. Fleming was a writer, not a gun enthusiast.
isn't .25 ACP a tiddly cartridge?
Originally posted by Sam The ShamProbably why they're classed as "FICTION".
