I'm actually pretty good at not screeching. My problem at the moment is keeping the bow from simply sliding across the strings laterally.

How many others do that? When I'm up in the wee hours I always take my gun out of the nightstand and keep it by the keyboard just in case I need to shoot bad guys. Plus I just like to fondle my gold/silver/pearl handled James Bond gun.

My advise is...don't mistake it for your cigarette lighter.

Showed it to a friend after I got it and he allowed as how it was a "pretty" gun, then added: "It looks like something a 10 dollar hooker would carry".
So I shot him in the knee.

It also compensates for the trash who shoot at babies and police in my neighborhood.
How does fondling a firearm while you're at the computer compensate for that?

Put the word on the street that there's a crazy Libertarian patriot with weapons near such-and-such and there'll be less crime around there. Gangsters are not suicide bombers. They don't want to die.

Every word spoken by a man known to be armed is respected that much more on the street, especially if he seems to be crazy enough to use them.

You're confusing respect with fear. A common mistake, though.

And just imagine if some thug were to look in your window at that time!

People are people, regardless of the colour of their collar.

If I understand what you're getting at, I'd say that those gangsters have no respect for anyone. They confuse fear with respect, but how can that be respect if it's only for those that they know can hurt them?

Depends if you were making machine gun noises or not.

I load my pistol with Federal +P+ "Law Enforcement only" loads, Federal restricts their sale to police departments but the local police supply gunshop sells them to anybody..tee-hee. I think it's because Arizona is kind of liberal when it comes to that sort of thing.I can't wait to shoot something with them. Or somebody.

People are people, but there are HUGE differences between people as well. I bet many gangsters respect Marines who died in Iraq hunting down Hussein, despite those Marines not being a threat. They understand "tough guys". They respect men who "act like men", and to them, that means being tough. The gangster culture in LA also respects "psycho". Many brag about how psycho they are. At least the taggers do when they tag.
