Small things of concern....
Anything seemingly insignificant that you see as concerning or unnerving?
To me, the ellipsis (...) [three dots in a row, often used to hang sentences 'off of' other sentences, but in the world of dramatism these three little dots strikes some concern. Being left off in the middle of nowhere when you prefer answers is quite...
I cannot come up with the word. How about I leave an ellipsis there. This upsets me, especially in current events not relating to anybody here, nor posing any significance.
So, if you would be so kind, would you care to share anything of seeming insignificance that is very significant to you, and why?

An ordinary drinking glass with Batman on it (the old 60's Adam West type). It's cheap and worn and looks like it was a prize at a hamburger joint. I got it when my town had a flood and I was helping the Salvation Army dig the mud out of flooded houses. At this house the people had lost everything: clothes, food, furniture, books, even their car. I asked them if I could keep the glass and they said yes. I look at it every day and remind myself that I really have nothing to complain about.
A green plastic hairbrush my Mom owned. I accidently packed it in my suitcase the last time I visited my Mother before she died three years ago. I comb my hair in the morning and take a minute to thank all of those who have come before me and cared for me.

I recently joined the US Navy and will be leaving for boot camp in 3 weeks. I've since moved out of my apartment and am staying with my brother and his family until I leave. My laptop is fried so I can only use his computer to check my email and move on my games. He works 10 hours a day and spends another 2 travelling on the bus due to the fact that he can't see well enough to drive. He gets very little time each day to do the things he enjoys on his computer. Like clockwork though, anytime I come anywhere near him when hes on it, he will offer it up to me without any hint of hesitation or regret. I have all day to screw around yet he would gladly stand up just for the happiness of his little brother. That to me speaks miles more than if he'd bought me a new car.
