So I work in an office, with women, right. And for the past couple of weeks, women of all ages have come to work wearing flipflops. I've been tempted to feign a lack of attention and step on someone's foot with my 200-lb. (yeah right) frame and my hard-soled dress shoes. Or walk by someone and accidentally-on-purpose spill hot soup on their feet. I a ...[text shortened]... shoes. But flip flops are just - shower shoes.

What do you all think?
Get over it.

I don't even own flip-flops. But why on earth do you care what people wear at work?

I don't like flip-flops but if you said something like that to me at work I would probably punch you in the junk.

I agree with the hairy one: flip flops are inappropriate for work...unless you work at the beach or are shooting an art film.

HA ha, got one! Ooh she was mad! I just clipped her little toe, that's all. I don't want to look at peoples' feet at work. It's nasty. What the hell's the matter with the smallest bit of decorum at work? Decorum does not include shower shoes.
Proper decorum would be to let such petty trivialities wash over you, instead of harping on about it and then stomping on people's toes. Hypocrisy never wears flip-flops.
