... and I've been turned down for each and everyone of them.

Am I overqualified? What am I doing wrong?

To asner this, and assuming thi s being not just another joke by you, one youwld need some detail, such as your qualifictaions, the jobs you applied for, if you replied to adverts, or applied just in case...

Just in case, but taking it seriously as if sending a proper, personalized
cover letter for each, my updated CV, and all that jazz.

    Start at the bottom.

Or would that be aiming too high for you.

I can be both, top and bottom.

How about you, sweet cheeks? I've heard stuff, you know.

Search on "improve your resume" including the quotation marks.

See if any of your prospective employers is willing to do an "informational interview" that isn't tied to any particular job. You could include this in your cover letter, or it could be a way to get a second shot at ones that rejected you.

I hope you don't take this the wrong way.
You're a bit off the wall, avant-garde, atypical. Try blending in with the hoi poli. Wear a tweed sportcoat, smoke a pipe, read a paper, buy a dog, eat a hot dog (but not the one you just bought)

    Hope this helps

Well, nothing. I was suggested by an interviewer to shave off my CV, as
I seem to be overqualified for everything under senior management or
    Nobel prize winner.

I will do so and add 'certified tobacco chewer' and 'first prize in Pomona
    fair's pumpkin growing competition'.

    Let's see what happens.
