@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidSo now you are saying you are doing it because I do???? How IRONIC!!! 😛
Oh the irony. You have been asked for the last decade repeatedly to supply your sources. You never do.

@Very-Rusty saidEvery movie-lover knows where that quote comes from, it's part of the fun. Like "I'll have what she's having." from When Harry Met Sally. 🙂
I assume everyone knows where you stole that line from. 😛

@Very-Rusty said... and Harry is feeling slightly uncomfortable. 🙂
Without even looking I know the exact scene you are talking about where she fakes having an orgasm at the dinner table.

@Very-Rusty saidLeading by example? It's nice that some of the younger people respect their elders. 😉

@Very-Rusty saidThe petty little monsters.
also don't concern yourself about the thumbs down, I never have!!! 😉 Someone is always going to be upset about what is said or at least PRETEND to be!!!

@Torunn saidOh, sorry, Torunn.

I generally read threads last to first, since the last post I've read in a thread is my last post, so it's way easier to read back to my last post. But sometimes I make a mistake like this one.
@Indonesia-Phil said"I don't say anything to anyone that I wouldn't say to their face"
It can get fairly toxic in Debates and sometimes Spirituality; I try to have a rule that I don't say anything to anyone that I wouldn't say to their face, but I'm not certain I always abide by it....It's a different form of communication, having no other means of contact, or getting to know 'the person', and you do have to muscle up sometimes, meek lambs don't tend to ...[text shortened]... so, I find it's best not to get too involved for too long, if it gets too hot I leave the kitchen...
Exactly.
"you do have to muscle up sometimes, meek lambs don't tend to last very long"
Exactly. I came to this website at the tender age of 26, and I bounced into the forums all bubbly and was shot down immediately and called "Suziman". Took me a while to recover from that. (You know, "Why don't they like me?" ) And somehow I've always had detractors. Disconcerting and depressing at first, I quickly learned to give as good as I got. The forums ARE better now, but it took some getting used to (and 'better' is staggeringly subjective). It was as terrifying at first as you might imagine breaking into the pirate business in the 1600's was. I needed a tougher, more confident exterior.
