Exactly. I came to this website at the tender age of 26, and I bounced into the forums all bubbly and was shot down immediately and called "Suziman". Took me a while to recover from that. (You know ...[text shortened]... e breaking into the pirate business in the 1600's was. I needed a tougher, more confident exterior.

I joined, “at the tender age of 58” and already had skin that was like that of a M1A2 tank. Ya gotta take all things said here, with a grain of salt….well except, of course, what I say…”God’s honest truth”.🤔😉😁

I kind of envy the "steady state" of some of the, shall we say, elder ones here. 🙂

I believe I'm one the eldest here, and also I joined the site in 2007. I would have liked to participate more in a 'semi-debate' forum - as it is now in Debates, most of the threads I know too little about, they are too far away from my world. I am not normally a thick-skinned person but on the internet it is different, we can be untouchable.

It doesn't matter, Stees is younger than me.. I have lived for 80 years and a few months, which not all people will do. I'm healthy and my mind works as it should. Nothing to take for granted so I feel blessed.
