Here’s a little tip I got recently that is worth passing on.
My wife and I went to see a biokineticist (spelling??) recently and she immediately asked us to show her how we walked. So, a little embarrassed we strolled up and down her office. She then told us that we walked all wrongly and that could be a part of our problem!
“Don’t walk flat on your feet, but start with your heel and roll down to the toes. Then pull in your belly-button to touch your spine and swing your arms!” This apparently draws more oxygen into your lungs and makes you feel better.
We did that and immediately felt the difference! Try it for yourself!
It appears that you can’t walk jauntily and feel depressed at the same time!
In good health,
CJ

here is my tip .... based simply on my own BLAAAH ...
sometimes walk flat footed like a ninja,
sometimes roll from heel to toe,
sometimes tiptoe,
sometimes run,
sometimes crawl,
sometimes jump,
sometimes roll;
never: always do ......

exactly what was the problem you went to the biokineticist about? general lack of energy or something?
Originally posted by CalJustI watched a tv show where a holistic therapist treated a terrible asthma sufferer. The therapist gave the sufferer breathing excercises, because the sufferer was actually breathing too much by breathing through her mouth the whole time. By doing her exercises every morning for a couple of weeks, she got down from 14+ swigs of the inhaler daily to 0.

Pretty much the opposite of what your therapist said.
