It looks as if the United States Space shuttle has exploded or crashed. I hope all will remember those who are lost and their families and if you pray, please do so for all. Maybe others have better information for us all. This is a sad day!

The crew of the last flight of Columbia will be remembered for their pursuit of adventure which much of the world's population has lost. They chose this profession not for money or glory, but for their passion of a gift from God that sets us apart from all life forms on this planet. This passion is what will continue the human race. If it is ignored and criticized we will cease to exist as a CIVILization.
Also, there was a avid Chess player aboard.. Lt. Col. Michael Anderson
Our heart goes out to all those aboard and their families. A tragic accident. But it is my personnel belief that we should not be in outer space. Has anybody ever seen that movie "The Day the Earth Stood Still". Why don't we explore the oceans here on earth. There is so much that we don't know about the oceans.
I have seen the movie "The Day the Earth Stood Still". It is one of my favorite movies. The warning from Klaatu was our desire to construct weapons of mass destruction, not our desire to explore space. As for exploring the oceans....we are. And, why do we have to forfeit one area of exploration to focus on one?
