MAP Knight, I am appreciative for your assistance in the MAP War. In
appreciation I have a classified special offer for you. Do you have a
pic on the internet you can put in your profile? Is it the right size so it
will not crowd the rest of your text? Is it neat without waisted space? If
it is not send me the pic you want to use in your profile. I will find it a
niche on the internet and crop and size it to fit neatly in your profile.
This offer is limited due to available web page space.

the profile..

Another thing that would help with bandwith would be to let me clean
out my archives. I can archive finished games, but you cannot delete
games from the archives. All you can do is unarchive them. Or, am I
not seeing something?

One thing you've got to remember is that every game has two
players. So even if it were possible to 'delete' the game your
opponent might not want to and so it would have to be stored anyway.
Also, there are reasons why the games are stored. One point is that
there have been rare occassions when players have set up duplicate
accounts in oreder to play themselves and inflate their rating for one
of their nicks. By having games completed games available for
everyone to look at this kind of thing is at least able to be spotted
and made public. Plus, your games might be of great interest to other
players.

Very valid points. But, as more people play on RHP, it will become an
issue, and one that needs to be addressed. Maybe put a 1 year
storage limit for archived games?

I think you were joking. I have 30mg of free web space. This is
one of the reason I made the offer to Map Knight. I'm not sure how
many members use AOL but all AOL members are allowed a mininum
of 10mg for web pages.
I will gladly resize and crop any photos for RHP Members to use
in their profiles. I ask that they do not send me copyrighted material
though.
