lol! Did it fry your cat? You could've sold to a Chinese restaurant for a good chunk of change!

Sounds about right to me too - what you said.

If the keyboard is wireless it should have batteries.

There might also be a little switch on the back to change the frequency..

Well, it is working again!

I took a few days to get it working again. The first two days is was not picking up the connection. But after drying for a few days, it now seems to work. Haven't tried all keys yet...

One of the given advice, to blow it dry with a heating system is something I have seen warnings again on several occasions. This is not what I tried, and deliberately did not do so. I do not know anymore excactly why it was bad, but it is always the best thing to let things dry out the natural way, so to speak.

It is a white Mac keyboard, so now I can use the oportunity to clean the thing a bit, now the keys are off to get the thing drying a bit better. The white key pads are not all that clean after two and a half years of use...

Thanks for the advices. And the laughter.

Darn, the letters Q to P are not functionaing. All others do.
I should set my computer to function with an Asdfg-keyboard...

An airing cupboard is what you need.... Not for for your keyboard, just cos its nice to hang out in one.
