Any old man sports? I don't want to buy a bunch of equipment or have any travel costs.

I'm under 50 years old and live in a big city.
Anyone have any ideas?
Try Yoga, not exactly a sport, but it will keep you fit without undue strain. I'm over 55 myself and it's helped me feel better. If there is no Yoga center in your area, there are many Yoga DVD's available. Try www.gaiam.com 😏

Table tennis, low weight dumbell regimen, pick up basketball with like aged men, tkae the wife for walks, put head phones on her, talk to the dog, return home to boxing match with wife(use regulation gloves) after making her pick up dog crap. You'll be fit in no time!

Go buy a Wii and use the bowling in the sports pack. Low impact, little walking, no dog poop, and you and your wife might like it while getting back in shape.

Don't listen to Scotty. The wife will make you pick up virtual poop with it, engage in virtual talk, virtual hanky panky and before you know you'll be crying uncle! First make sure she hasn't already bought the virtual dog software! Or the Wii Mall shopping spree interphase!

Taekwondo. Great for keeping the old body in shape.

Or if you're not into self-defense and yoga looks too painful, then try Tai Chi.

i do old man hockey and old man golf carrying the bag. both work well. also suggest walks altho one viagaran claimed that his strolling days seems to be over. if you can get close to mountains, walk up (its just a matter of slowing down but still experiencing the cardio. what aabout x-country skiing. nod hard to learn and more fun that snow shoeing. both easilydoable for sixties and easier for unders. as a canadian, i've determined that cold is cool and there's lots to do in the cold. i do do it all but i dont believe it. winter sucks
