I woke up, switched my PC on and here goes the surprise. "internet connection not avaiable" and then some false "windows notifers" (yeah, windows my arse) noticing my that I have to update something so I should click the link in order to protect myself. Then the desktop wallpaper changed to some dark red with some symbol.... and i received some notifer that I am highjacked and that i have to go to follow link in order to protect my PC.

What shall I do, I barely connected to RHP now 😲 ???

Now the false "windows security alert" is linking me to some site that looks like bad copy of real windows security pages in order to "save my PC"

What a bad joke.

If that doesn't sort it, try posting your problem here. Might take a couple of days but usually you can get good advice. http://www.pcpitstop.com/default.asp

Im no expert - but its my understanding that these things exploit the windows messaging service to hit you with false warnings.
try downloading "spybot - search and destroy" from download.com or one of the other decent sites like majorgeeks.com - This is probably the best and most user friendly antispy ive come across.
I use it in conjunction with a few others, and have no problems these days.

I am just updating my spybot. I hope it will work. Would reinstalling windows help ? (without formating disc) or the spyware could be hidden somwhere with other data and files ?

Download RogueRemover.

Sounds like Ransomware, not spyware. Rogue should remove it for you.

So, not only did you somehow manage to download and install some spy/mal-ware, but you went ahead and clicked a link to an apparent phishing site that has now probably logged some of your personal information?

Nice work there, Captain Courage.

Please, for the love of god people:
- Use FireFox, preferably with AdBlock and NoScript add-ons installed or if you must use IE, don't just click yes to every pop-up you get.
- Install a third party firewall application like ZoneAlarm, so that unauthorized access to the Internet is blocked.
- Install a virus application that scans emails too.
- Make sure your Windows installation is always up-to-date. Just let the automatic updates run their course.
- Stop and Read. Just be aware. Don't just click 'Yes' or 'OK' on every pop-up or windows dialog that pops up.

I didn't click ! But after a while of ignoring or closing infected messages I get (not at the internet but right after I switched on my pc) the computer would open some internet pages with "free protection" alone..

'Tis spyware that gives 'false positives', say on a 'free' scan... so you have to download their own removal tool, as nothing else will eradicate the problem that you downloaded (clicked on) in the first place. It basically holds you to ransom. Rogue remover is superb at removing such threats.

'Spylocked' is ransomware, for instance. It offers a free check, will find something then ask you to pay for removal! DON'T click on anything if you go to the site out of curiosity!!!

I would first run MalwareBytes and then the aforementioned rogueremover.

Both available here:

should remove worm32NetSky
