I woke up, switched my PC on and here goes the surprise. "internet connection not avaiable" and then some false "windows notifers" (yeah, windows my arse) noticing my that I have to update something so I should click the link in order to protect myself. Then the desktop wallpaper changed to some dark red with some symbol.... and i received some notifer that I am highjacked and that i have to go to follow link in order to protect my PC.
What shall I do, I barely connected to RHP now 😲 ???

What a bad joke.
Im no expert - but its my understanding that these things exploit the windows messaging service to hit you with false warnings.
try downloading "spybot - search and destroy" from download.com or one of the other decent sites like majorgeeks.com - This is probably the best and most user friendly antispy ive come across.
I use it in conjunction with a few others, and have no problems these days.

Nice work there, Captain Courage.
Please, for the love of god people:
- Use FireFox, preferably with AdBlock and NoScript add-ons installed or if you must use IE, don't just click yes to every pop-up you get.
- Install a third party firewall application like ZoneAlarm, so that unauthorized access to the Internet is blocked.
- Install a virus application that scans emails too.
- Make sure your Windows installation is always up-to-date. Just let the automatic updates run their course.
- Stop and Read. Just be aware. Don't just click 'Yes' or 'OK' on every pop-up or windows dialog that pops up.

What is Ransomware ?
'Spylocked' is ransomware, for instance. It offers a free check, will find something then ask you to pay for removal! DON'T click on anything if you go to the site out of curiosity!!!
