I know darkness is creeping in (GMT) but there's still time to get out there and appreciate a squirrel.

OMG! Just been informed that Squirrel Appreciation Day was actually yesterday.
I feel like a right clod. Have been going around the whole day appreciating squirrels and it wasn't even 'their' day. (And not one of them told me).

Our daughter has lots of picture books with them in but she will
probably not see any during her childhood.
