Dave Chappelle, Jeremy Hotz, Jerry Seinfeld, Dane Cook, Josh Blue, Ralphie may, Alonzo Boden, and Dat Phan are some of my favorites.

LCS as a whole has probably hurt standup. There have been a few good finds through LCS though, such as Blue and Phan. Easily the 2 funniest comedians to have appeared on that show.

Season 1 was actually pretty good though. Phan isn't funny to me anymore though, no new material, it's all recycled. And Dane Cook (Not LCS) used to be one of my favorites, but he's so insanely mainstream right now that he's lost some of his magic. I mean, when every ditzy girl in my high school thinks he's God it starts to get old.

True. Phan hasn't written anything new. He was the right pick for the winner in season 1, but he only could get so far with what he had.
I know Cook wasn't LCS. I agree, he is to mainstream. He needs to do a couple underground or non scedueled shows. Keep things lively and unpredictable. Hopefully he's one of those people who thinks it's about the fans, the real fans. Not the ditzy girls who like him because he's famous, like you said.
