There used to be sensible and intelligent posters in the Debates Forum on the conservative end of the political spectrum to whom one did not have to keep explaining what the word "socialism" actually means, over and over and they still don't get it. There used to be sensible and intelligent posters to the Spirituality Forum who engaged with sensible and intelligent agnostics such as myself, instead of merely preaching their peculiar brands of Kentuckian Evangelical brain-fever. Gone they are. Fled to other platforms apparently. And then there's the debacle of the Clan System ... everyone in it knows it's moribund.
Sorry, Russ, it was nice while it lasted, but I don't want to pay for it any more. And yes, I'll tolerate adverts just to play a bit of chess with Earl and Rusty now and then.

i am somewhat inspired, by ole hecate's lament
he came to mock the producers of thought
his idea of normal, is tuxedoed and formal
but who told him to get hizzelf bent?
we define our present status
limiting who we may be
a chess player, a word sprayer, or merely another troll
so i've brought you gifts, from my bag of trix
to cause yer eyes to roll
let us gather as children, at the hand's feet
listening carefully now to the poor billy's beat
we find out about all our flaws
but how can this be?
we've been exposed don't you see?
the political smeared on the sublime
no longer fun, most folks on the run
from the carnival of the pawn's neon lights
but the status remains quo
(sorta slow dontcha know)
is that we all remember how to fight
