Well I've never done it, but if I were to make up rules on the spot, I'd say you each need 8 articles of clothing. For each pawn you lose, you lose an article of clothing. Pieces just work like normal. Maybe checkmate means you get to ... mate.
The tricky part would be finding a member of the gender of your choice who likes chess enough.

Well you know better than us, you talk to her. Still I've given chess lessons to females platonically, as well as flirtatiously. Some girls are actually interested in learning chess and just have never gotten around to finding someone to teach them.
I've never given chess lessons. After explaining how the pieces move and why the queen is better than a pawn, I wouldn't know how to continue.

One good thing is to think out loud as you play and explain the why of every move. Correct big mistakes in thinking, let them take back moves if it is a blunder, and actually point it out or ask "are you sure you want to do that".
