I was so disappointed to see police officers in shorts. I suppose that sort of informality goes on in the colonies, but frankly if they wore a proper a uniform, didn't park on the beach and stopped arresting young woman for sunbathing they would command a lot more respect. I wondered if they were just showing off their legs for attention.
