I'm probably still doing stupid things by the minute; no matter how well little bits of experience teach me, my potential for stupidity is unbounded.
Tell me about really dumb things you've done so I feel better about my failures.
😀
Yours probably is too 😀.

My last but not least failure ( 3 days ago ) :
I had guaranted concert tour in America, 30 concert recitals, a lot of money + I am finally doing something for my career. For a student, that is a gift from the sky. I didn't show up at the arranged time at the office of the manager that called me because I was lazy and not in the mood. (+ I was on the part ...[text shortened]... to talk about my emotional failures in the last few months, that would be way over the top 🙁
Originally posted by Sam The ShamYou learn very quickly to be punctual when you play in a professional orchestra, though. In the orchestra I played in, you had to pay if you were late ("late" meaning not sitting on your place ready to play when the rehearsal starts), no excuses accepted. The first time you didn't have to pay very much, but with every time it happened again, the amount was doubled. I found it to be a nice change from the student orchestra at music university where all rehearsals started late, so that you got punished for being punctual.
