What are the subtle manifestations of your all round toughness, whether they be physical, mental or moral?

I think anyone's manifestations of all-round toughness (subtle or obvious) can be seen in their actions and/or accomplishments. i.e. Do they get up and work even on the days they feel like doing something else? Do they pursue their goals and dreams even when all seems hopeless? Do they stick to their diets? Their budgets? Their exercise goals? Their savings programs? their educational aspirations, and so forth. It takes determination and persistence to do these things. As far as my manifestations of these things go, I'd give myself a 7 on a scale of 1 - 10. Not bad, but still a work in progress.

I often sleep shirtless outside on the ceramic tiles of my terrace with a folded towel as a makeshift pillow.
