the invisible struggle to NOT reply to blatant ignorance revealed
i do not always succeed
i do not fight with the police as much as in my youth
never once won any of those anyhow
whenever i think i am less stubborn and acidly cynical than i was yesterday, i am reminded of failed relationships and meditate at length on my character flaws

not so much toughness, as softness seems to be more effective
a lesson learned daily, and this excellent question of yers is but a single manifest

Thank you. I knew deep inside that it was an excellent question when I posed it, but now you have reaffirmed it in public. It was born out of remorse for literally starting a trash thread. Being resilient in the face of remorse is a subtle manifestation of my all-round toughness.
