Reach inside, the tcp is usually next to the ip port.

The ip port should feel like pulsing slug, the tcp port has more of a hard shell.

they probably meant to say ethernet port.

it looks like a phone jack but it's wider and has more pins. look on the back of your computer for it. it's where you plug in the ethernet line that connects your computer to the local network.
