it takes 2 to have an argument-if u didn't provoke christians, then maybe there'd be less of the religious stuff about?...also-didn't the gameknot forums go this way a few months before mike closed them?...

It seems to me that Russ has everything under control. 🙂

Some of the religion threads, including Omnislash's original, have featured some thought-provoking argument. They have all featured some nastiness and closed-mindedness as well. A "Religion" forum totally misses the point; we are usually having some kind of argument, and the "bible thumping" is merely one rhetorical style whose merits I will not discuss here.
I'd suggest a "Philosophy" forum instead, which would include philosophy of religion, if we must be altering the forum structure.

Now you've stated in your post " ... , and the "bible thumping" is merely one rhetorical style ... etc.".
I'm not that familiar with the inner emotional value of words in the English language, if you don't mind me expressing this the way I do, as I often would like to be. Now could you elaborate, if you want to, on the above quoted words taken from your previous post ? I'm not sure whether I do or don't understand the "bandwidth" of your words.
Maybe that's not the subject of this thread. It has someting to do with how we treat eachother.
Well, maybe it does fit in with "That does it" after all.
