Going to Church or reading the Bible can't and will not save people, only Jesus can John 14:6. And God proved it by raise Jesus from the died.
Its ironic that you can find such a quote from the very book that you seem so obsessed with.

The Bible says to believe on the Lord Jesus and thou shall be saved, right there that tells me that I don't need to go to Church. But you should to grow Spiritually. The man on the Cross next to Jesus never when to Church and was saved, and people who accept Christ in the Hospitals whall dying don't get a chance to go.

Q: Why does the Bible refer to God in masculine terms?

A: The answer to the question about why God is referred to with masculine terms in the Bible really has only one answer: This is the way God has chosen to reveal Himself to us. God is never described with sexual characteristics in the Scriptures, but He does consistently describe Himself in the masculi ...[text shortened]... truth o you as you grow in Christ. And therefore we know he is man, He even says so in the O.T.
Sounds to me like the stereotypical sexist. . .

Acting "feminine" = weak

Acting "masculine" = strong

But still if jesus is the only thing that can save you, why bother going to church or reading the bible ?. Why not do something good, like visiting lonely old folk or playing games with the orphans, that must be more spiritually rewarding ?

I can't believe this turned into another religious debate.

What are you babbling on about old man? Slow down, THINK COHERENTLY, and put some sentances TOGETHER, oh yeah, use some punctuation too, it's kinda useful, I'll point it out for you, it does exist on your keyboard. That post made like no sense dude.

Maybe we know him but don't like him . He is kind of arrogant and presumptious .Says he died for me , and I'm spose to give a rat's ass . I didn't ask him to . He's always judging everyone . What a pain in the ass . It's worse than a tattling little sister following you around . If he does come back , I think a bunch of us ought to have a blanket and ax handle party and leave his bloody ass in a dumpster .

Why do you continue to misrepresent the Bible, RBHILL?

Why do you persist? You know this isn't an accurate
representation of fundamentalist beliefs (wherein the
Bible is the inerrant Word of God). Faith without
works is dead.

Why do you continue to lie about Christ Jesus?
